About Me

My name is Fozia 

An artist, illustrator, pharmacist and a busy wife and mother. My creativity is anchored in fantastical stories and dreams of epic adventure. I love to draw characters of strength such as mysterious warriors and ninjas. I also like painting exquisite beauty in the form of ethereal maidens, nature and lovable animals. I like to pay homage to my Desi background and embellish my style with mehndi like patterns and geometry. I use a range of mediums including watercolour, gouache, fine liner, pencil and wax pastels to manifest my imagination onto paper. I love to read and write as well. I have published my first picture book Ramadan at the Apothecary (2026) and am currently working on new stories. I also keep a journaling blog on this website which contains short essays and poetry.
